Fine Art Fair Kids Art Festival
You don’t have to wait until you’re all grown up to be a great artist. Join in the fun by working with instructors and volunteers to complete your very own masterpiece.
Children will have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of mediums and work in both two and three dimensions; ranging from the traditional paint, pastel and markers to contemporary recycled materials.
Most activities require one or two tickets; with several complimentary activities available as well. Tickets may be purchased for $1 each at the ticket booth inside the Kids Art Festival.
All proceeds help support community outreach programs that provide access to the arts to students of all ages in the Peoria area.

Clay Creations
Googly eyes and a few pipe cleaners are all you need to transform a dull block of clay into an artsy character. Perfect for aspiring sculptors and animators!
Colossal Origami
Learn the ancient art of origami with a whole new twist.
Design-a-Tote
Using fabric markers & crayons, kids will have everything they need to turn a boring tote bag into an artistic expression they can carry all year long! Helpful hint: heat sets the colors, so parents…iron or throw the bag in the dryer when you get home.
Mini Mural
We provide the paint and markers, you provide the inspiration. Join with others to help decorate the Kids Art Festival’s very own community mural.
Crinkle Caps
Mix simple materials like paper, feathers, and sequins with a little creativity for some fantastic head ware.
Face Painting
See art from a whole new perspective; as a living canvas!
